Our Wednesday training sessions are designed for students in year 5 to 7 at school who are ready to challenge themselves and develop stronger performance skills.
Students can train in Acting, Singing and Dance individually, or combine all three for a full afternoon of focused, high-quality training.
Each 50-minute session builds technique, discipline and performance confidence in a structured and supportive environment. For families choosing the full training package, there is a saving of over £50 per term.
This is where young performers begin to refine their craft while continuing to grow in confidence and creativity.
Acting
In Acting, students deepen their understanding of character, text and stage presence.
Sessions focus on:
- Script work and scene study
- Character analysis and motivation
- Vocal control, projection and clarity
- Emotional truth and authenticity
- Ensemble performance skills
Students are encouraged to take creative risks, think independently and develop stronger storytelling skills. The focus moves beyond games into more detailed performance work, helping them grow in both confidence and discipline.
Dance
In Dance, students build stronger technical foundations while exploring a variety of styles including Jazz, Commercial, Contemporary and performance-based choreography.
Sessions develop:
- Strength, control and alignment
- Musicality and timing
- Performance quality and expression
- Precision in choreography
Students are expected to focus, retain choreography more quickly and perform with greater clarity and confidence. While some routines may draw from musical theatre, training also reflects current commercial styles, giving students a broad and versatile dance foundation.
Singing
In Singing, students refine vocal technique and performance delivery.
Sessions include:
- Breath control and vocal stamina
- Tone, pitch accuracy and range development
- Harmony work and ensemble singing
- Connecting emotion and storytelling through song
Students begin to understand how to sustain performance quality, project confidently and interpret material with greater maturity.
The aim is to build strong, healthy voices alongside expressive and confident performers.
